Cease & Desist Notices
Cease and desist notice is a notice which informs the recipient of his illegal actions and demands cessation of those illegal activities. The cease and deists notices also warns the recipient that in case the illegal activities are not stopped, criminal and civil action will be taken against him.
Cease and desist notices are basically the first step that is taken in case of IP infringement. There are many benefits of issuing a cease and desists notice to the infringer.
