OVERVIEW
The design protection confers copyright in the design to its features of shape, configuration, pattern, ornament or composition of lines or colors applied to any article. The design protection only protects the visual attributes of the article which could be judged solely by the eye. In India, design registrations are governed by The Designs Act, 2000 and The Designs Rules, 2001.
FILING AND PROSECUTION
Filing design application is a tricky task to get the registration at earliest. Objections are mostly formal in their nature; therefore, the procedural clarity is utmost important while filing design application. We prepare the documents pertaining to design filing as per the design office prerequisite, which expedite the design registration and secure the interest of our client at the best.

DESIGN ENFORCEMENT
The design registration confers the exclusive rights to the owner of design to apply registered design to articles of registered class. However, the designs can be applied to prepare an identical or obvious imitation of the registered products. We ensure effective enforcement of designs of our client through suitable pre-litigation measures. We also ensure effective enforcement through obtaining favorable injunctions orders where the pre-litigation measures would not suffice.
